Kindra and Omar's wedding at the Hyatt Regency in the Denver Tech Center was incredible! It was full of culture, the venue was classy. The decor was glamourous and the wedding party was full of life. And the bride and groom? Competelty in love. It was so much fun to capture.
The bridal suite at the Hayatt made for a perfect getting ready room. The decor was so cool and modern, I just had to do some formal bridals there.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen walked up opposite staircases before joining to walk down the isle. I loved this! It was really unique and made for dramatic photos.
How cool is this ceremony location? I love the lights along the canopy. So pretty!
Their friends and family flew in from around the globe to clebrate with them... Egypt, Kwait, Canada and all over the US. It was a great group of people, you can tell eveyone is very close.
To top off the evening, the guests were surprised by the arrival of an belly dancer. They partied and danced the night away.
Kindra and Omar, THANK YOU! Your wedding was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. :)

I'm so excited to finally post these images! :)
This post is special to Jenny and I because this newly-engaged couple are my sister and her boyfriend. Guess who got to shoot their engagement photos?! :)
Kaitlin and Joey have known each other since attending Boulder High School in Boulder, Colorado. Since the school has such special meaning to them, we decided to do their engagement photos around the campus.
I have always known that they started dating sophomore year... but what I did not know, until this shoot, was that Joey asked her out while they were at the gas station across the street during lunch.
Since Kaitlin is my little sister, I have been protective of her my whole life. Not just any guy was going to marry my sister. Well, Joey is not just any guy. He is smart, thoughtful, caring and loyal. They are a perfect pair. They have been through a lot together and were each other's rock along the way. Joey has been an integral part of our family for years and now we are so thrilled it's going to be official. :)
We love you guys so much and cannot wait for the wedding. ♥

When Patrick and I met with Kelly and Ryan last summer about their fall wedding on Ryan's family ranch we knew we were in for a photography treat. They explained the Colorado Cowboy theme with sunflowers, cowboy hats, boots, and a field of horses!?! It seemed too good to be true.
You may remember this gorgeous couple form their engagement session I posted awhile back. I knew photographing their wedding was going to be a cake walk.. I mean look at them! They really know how to work the camera.
We arrived at the nearby hotel to find the couple and the bridal party getting ready for the big event. Everyone was hustling and bustling and giggling with excitement. Kelly's dress was hanging in the window and immediately caught my eye. The delicate lace and whimsy ruffles had me drooling. What can I say? I'm definitely a sucker for wedding dresses.
Kelly's mother and bridesmaids were so sweet! They made sure Kelly had everything, looked perfect and didn't pass out with nerves.
It would not be a Colorado wedding without cowboy boots. :)
The ceremony site was in a field, with a 360 degree view of valleys, mountains, a river, horses, and a ranch. It was a perfect day and place to see Colorado in all it's glory.
The ceremony included a Lasso Ritual where the bride and groom were draped in a lasso during prayer to show unity. I thought it was really unique and fun.... and made for cool photos! :)
The bridal party was cracking me up! I love when everyone is having a great time, laughing and joking and all I have to do is capture it. That is how this bridal party was. They were so much fun and it made for great photos.
As we were walking towards the river to take groomsmen photos, one of them asked me if he should get their guns.
Ummmm... Yes. Perfect.
Kelly and Rayn, your wedding was incredible. Thank you so much for having us there. I look forward to taking your photos in the future..... like..... baby photos? hint, hint. ;)
